Obituary

Naomi Hilda (Warner) Dubs, 88, of Hanover went to be with her Savior peacefully while at her home on Saturday, July 30, 2022.

Born April 12, 1934, Naomi was the daughter of the late Richard L. and Miriam (Masemer) Warner.  She attended Eichelberger High School.

Naomi was the beloved wife of Harold Henry Dubs for nearly 71 years.  Her desire was to be a farmer's wife and that is what she was until she and Harold bought Aunt Kitty's Soup business in partnership with their friends, Herb and June Lippy, in 1960.  For the next 23 years she worked in the factory, raised three children and made their house a home where everyone was welcome.  She was known for her good cooking and baking, especially her pies.  She enjoyed gardening, but most of all, she loved to travel with Harold.  Naomi supported Harold in all his endeavors.  Serving and caring for her family brought her happiness.  She was a loving, gentle woman who ministered to many in her quiet way.  For many years she was involved with Christian Women's Club and was a faithful member of Calvary Bible Church.

Naomi is survived by her husband, Harold Henry Dubs and her children, Janet Weir (Robert Weir, Jr.), Esther Miller (M. David Miller) and Robert Dubs; her grandchildren, Sarah Hinch (Nate), Michelle Griffith (David), Sharon Canavan (John), Ben Miller, Nathan Weir (Danielle), Matthew Weir (Laura) and Rachel Roush (Michael), and thirteen great-grandchildren.

A viewing will be held at Calvary Bible Church; 603 Wilson Ave. in Hanover on Friday, August 5 th from 6:00 – 8:00 pm.  A memorial service will be held at Calvary Bible Church on Saturday, August 6 th at 10:30 am.  The family will receive friends at 9:30 am.  Following the service, interment will be in Marburg Memorial Gardens in Hanover.

Donations may be made in her honor to International Partnership Ministries; 100 Spring St.; Hanover, PA 17331 or Child Evangelism Fellowship of York County; 58 Mt. Zion Rd.; York, PA 17402.
