Patricia "Patti" Ann Smith, 70, of Hanover, passed away Friday, January 1, 2021 at ManorCare Kingston Court, York.  She was the loving wife of Daniel T. Smith, Hanover.  They celebrated 20 years of marriage on December 1, 2020.

She was born May 17, 1950 in Hampstead, MD, the daughter of the late Samuel Leroy and Lanelle Mae (Sisler) Calp.

Patti was a photo tech at Rite Aid, Hanover, a waitress and worked part-time at Lincoln Speedway.  She enjoyed her grandchildren, swimming, boating on the lake and sprint car racing.

Patti was preceded in death by her sister Shirley Weindl and brothers James Calp Sr. and Donald Calp Sr. as well as two step brothers. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughters Pansy Garner and husband Matt of South Carolina, Michelle Sheehan and husband Lance of South Carolina and Brenda Hockensmith of Gettysburg; step-daughters Vicki McDaniel of Arendtsville and Cheri Commiato, Carrollton, TX; step-sons Mike Weakly and wife Shirley of Wichita, KS and Wade Weakly and wife Kelly of San Antonio, TX; brothers and sisters, Kenny Calp of Littlestown, Richard Calp and wife Anne of Manchester, MD, Samuel Calp and life partner Joann of Lineboro, MD, Joey Calp and life partner Jane of Westminster, MD, Mary Steigerwald of Westminster, MD, Nancy Hoover of Westminster, MD; 16 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
