Patricia Ann Emerick, 69, of Spring Grove, passed away Friday, January 22, 2021 at UPMC Pinnacle Hanover. She was the loving wife of Kenneth Scott Emerick, Spring Grove. Together they shared 41 years of marriage.
She was born January 30, 1951 in Hanover, the daughter of the late Cleatus O., Sr. and Nadine M. (Garrett) Wentz.
Patricia graduated from Spring Grove High School, Class of 1968. She was a seamstress at Middleburg/Aneco Trousers, McSherrystown and also worked at Pennland Paper/Sunoco Products, Hanover. Patricia was a member of Porters Community Fire Co., Porters Community Fire Co. Ladies Auxiliary and a life member of the Ladies Auxiliary of VFW Post 5265, Spring Grove.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughter, Michele Lee Willis and husband Kevin, York New Salem; son, Gordon "Jake" Bolen, Jr. and wife Wendy, Charles Town, WV; brothers, Cleatus O. Wentz, Jr. and wife Joann, Spring Grove and Frederick Wentz, Hanover; granddaughter, Tiffany Wise, Folkston, GA and brother-in-law, Clem Markle, Spring Grove.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Nancy Pascoe and Shirley Markle and brother Samuel Wentz.
A time to share memories and an opportunity to view will be on Tuesday, January 26, 2021 from 5 to 8 PM at the Wetzel Funeral Home and Crematory, 549 Carlisle Street, Hanover. A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
