Phillip C. Bange, 80, of Spring Grove, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at home. He was the loving husband of Mary E. (Sterner) Bange; together they would have celebrated their 58 th wedding anniversary on May 11 th .

Born January 24, 1940 in Hanover, he was a son of the late Albert L. and Erma P. (Kerr) Bange.

Mr. Bange was a loving husband father and grandfather; he cherished time spent with his family, especially loving time spent with his grandson, Austin. Phillip was a lifelong member of Hanover Seventh-day Adventist Church and he worked for York International as a tester, retiring after 40 years of service. In his free time, Phillip enjoyed camping, fishing and metal detecting with his brother Earl.

In addition to his wife, Phillip is survived by two children, Deborah Kessler and her fiancé Terry Smith of Spring Grove, Kevin L. Bange and his wife Jennifer of Spring Grove; a grandson Austin Bange; many loving step grandchildren; siblings Nancy L. Gladfelter and Corene Harman. Mr. Bange is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and extended family members.

In addition to his parents, Phillip was preceded in death by Siblings, Harold I. Bange, Lester B. Bange, Dorothy M. Clapper, Vergie E. Bange, Norman E. Bange, Fred M. Bange and Earl W. Bange.

There will be no public viewing. Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Hanover Seventh-day Adventist Church, 865 Gitts Run Rd, Hanover, PA 17331.
