Randy Lee
Becker
Jul 20, 1957 — Mar 16, 2026
Randy Lee Becker, Sr., 68, of New Oxford, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 16, 2026, at his home, surrounded by his loving family. He was the devoted husband of Judy A. (Mummert) Becker, with whom he shared 50 years of marriage filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories.
Born July 20, 1957, in Hanover, Randy was a son of Marie Mae (Bankert) Becker of New Oxford and the late Raymond John Becker.
Randy was born and raised in Hanover and, following his graduation with the 1975 class at New Oxford High School, Randy began his career as a brick crafter at the former Alwine's Brickyard, where he worked faithfully until his retirement. He married the love of his life, Judy, in 1975, and together they built a life centered around family. Randy was a devoted husband, a proud father, and a loving grandfather who treasured every moment spent with his family and friends.
In his free time, Randy found joy in the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing, and he never missed an opportunity to share a good meal and good company. He was a proud member of the Lucky Ten Deer Camp, Catholic War Veterans Club in Bonneauville, Hanover Home Association, McSherrystown Home Association, McSherrystown Fish and Game, and the New Oxford Social Club, where he formed many lasting friendships over the years.
In addition to his wife and mother, Randy is survived by his daughter, Melissa A. McIntyre and her husband, Troy, of New Oxford; his son, Randy L. Becker, Jr. and his wife, Dawn, of New Oxford; his grandchildren, Quaid McIntyre, Levi Becker, Dakota Becker, Tiffany Wentz, and Tara O'Connell; his great-grandchildren, Jason Runk, Mara Wentz, Cooper Wentz, Aaron O'Connell, and Josh O'Connell; his brother, Richard Becker and his wife, Deb, of New Oxford; his sister, Sherry Grossnickel and her husband, Lewis, of Williamsport; and many loving nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
