Randy Wayne
Hare
Apr 11, 1955 — Dec 23, 2018
Randy W. Hare, 63 of Spring Grove, PA passed peacefully on Sunday, December 23, 2018 at home. Randy was born April 11, 1955 in Hanover, PA. He was the son of the late Rosetta (Luckenbaugh) and Lawrence Hare. His parents built a house near Miller's Station in Maryland. Randy was independent even at a young age and would often ride his bike to fish at Pretty Boy Dam or to Alesia to get a soda.
The family moved back to PA and Randy graduated from Hanover High School. He married his High School sweetheart, JoAnn Niedererr and they had two beautiful children together, Shannon and Shawn.
Randy was married a second time to Kimberly Harrell. They had two beautiful girls, Sierra and Stacia. He was a stern, but very loving and dedicated father.
Randy was the love of Kim's life and he referred to her as "babydoll". He would tell everyone how much he loved Kim and how proud he was of all his children. Then the children had grandchildren; Noah , Korryn, Joshua, Kohen ,Stetson, Savannah and Adalynne .
Shannon M. Hare, oldest child, engaged to Kevin E. Miller of Littlestown. What do you say about the first man who gives you his name? The greatest daddy a girl could have. The man who taught me how to change my oil and a tire and how to shoot a gun. The man who gave me my red hair and temper. The man who gave me my love of animals and the Cowboys! I love you so much and miss you so much already! Be at peace my friend, my auction buddy, my birthday buddy, my daddy – your weasel!
Dad taught us many things growing up; how to fish, how to cook and how to hunt. The most important things he ever taught us were; how to love, how to laugh and how to always do your best. We love you dad, Weevis and family.
To the man who could do anything, fix anything and could make me laugh at the drop of a hat. Dad, my best friend, my heart and Addys "Pappy". We will miss you more than anything. Your love for muscle cars lives on through me and I will continue to share the knowledge you have taught me. You were my rock and my voice of reason growing up and always made sure I always thought things through. You were a provider and a protector, an intelligent man and a huge animal lover. All of which I have a part of in me. I thank you for the 26 years of memories that I was blessed to be able to have you here with me. Life will continue but it will never be the same. I love you dad, rest easy – love, Peanut.
Randy is survived by his wife Kimberly Hare, his Eldest daughter Shannon Hare engaged to Kevin Miller, Son Shawn Hare married to Missy Hare and their two children Korryn and Kohen Hare, his daughter Sierra Lucas married to Roger Lucas and their four children, Noah Lucas, Joshua Lucas, Stetson Hartsough and Savannah Hartsough, and his youngest daughter Stacia Hare engaged to Dylan Bernard and their daughter Adalynne Bernard.
