Randy L. Wine, age 69, of Hanover, passed away peacefully at his home on September 8, 2024, surrounded by his loved ones. Born on August 23, 1955, he was the beloved son of Nadine M. (Miller) Wine of Hanover and the late Robert C. Wine.

Randy was a proud graduate of Southwestern High School and York Vocational-Technical School, where he forged lasting friendships and honed skills that would serve him throughout his life. He worked diligently across various industries, including R.H. Sheppard, Caterpillar, his own landscaping company, Brewskees, FedEx, Eldredge, his own trucking transportation company, and most recently, Wal-Mart. His commitment to his work was second only to his love for his family.

Randy's passion for life was evident in his hobbies and the joy he found in simple pleasures. An accomplished bass player and avid karaoke singer, his love for music was a thread that wove through his life. He was also both a classic car and motorcycle enthusiast, pounding the pavement in countless muscle cars and relishing the freedom of the open road on vintage bikes. Whether riding solo or with friends, Randy found peace and joy on both two and four wheels. He cherished every opportunity to visit Arizona and Minnesota, where he spent treasured moments with his children and grandchildren. He was also a passionate home cook and grill master, known for his infectious laugh and warm smile that could brighten any room. His backyard grill sessions and his love for gathering family around the table will remain fond memories for those who knew him.

Randy was an active member of the Hanover Home Association, Home Association of McSherrystown, McSherrystown Moose, and New Oxford Social & Athletic Club.

In addition to his mother, Randy is survived by his siblings: Ron Wine, Diane Wine, and Dawn Bankert; his son Rob Wine and his wife Laura; his daughters Rose French, Rita French, and Michale French; his five grandchildren, and a host of extended family and friends, all of whom will miss him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Wine, whose memory Randy always held close to his heart.

A service to celebrate the life of Randy will be held at 11 am on Monday, September 16, 2024 at the Wetzel Funeral Home & Crematory, 549 Carlisle St., Hanover with Rev. Dr. Jerry Beers officiating. A time to share memories with the family and an opportunity to view will be on Sunday from 6-8 pm and then again on Monday from 10 am until the time of the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Marburg Memorial Gardens, Hanover. Following the burial there will be a luncheon at Wellspring Wesleyan Church, 127 Hickory Ln, Hanover, PA 17331.
