Reba C. Sanders, 87, passed away on Monday evening, July 17, 2023 at Hanover Hospital. She was the loving wife of deceased husband Kenneth F. Sanders.

Born on January 26, 1936 in Rockingham County VA, Reba was the daughter of the late James Morton Smiley and Cleo Evangeline Moubray Smiley Bankert.

Reba worked as a homemaker and held other small part time jobs. She enjoyed knitting, reading, making jewelry, doing Sudoku and puzzles! She also enjoyed spending time with her family. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren are the apple of her eye.

In addition to the survived family are four children; daughter Jeannette Y. Howard and her husband G. Michael Howard of Hanover. Son, Barry L. Arey and his fiance Connie Kint of East Berlin. Son, Kenneth F. Arey and his wife Angela Arey of Hanover. Son, John L. Sanders and his wife Valerie Sanders of New Oxford. Reba is also survived by two siblings, Patsy G. Miller and husband Larry Miller of Virginia and Ray D. Smiley and wife Lena Smiley of East Berlin. She has many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

There will be no viewing. However, a time to share memories of Reba with the family will be Saturday, July 29, 2023 from 1:00-4:00 PM at Brushtown Athletic Association located at 5603 Hanover Rd. Hanover, PA 17331.
