Robert G. "Greg" Most, 72 of New Oxford, formerly of Union Mills, Maryland died suddenly on January 14, 2019.  He was the beloved husband of 37 years to Loretta A. Kronner-Most.

Born February 7, 1946 in Baltimore, MD, he was a son of the late Joseph K. and Virginia M. (Fantom) Most.

Greg was a 1964 graduate of Polytechnic High School in Baltimore, and served many distinguished years  in the U.S. Coast Guard, achieving the rank of Commander.  He was also a 4 ^th Degree Knight of Columbus.  Greg enjoyed fishing, farming, yardwork and political discussions.

In addition to his wife, Loretta, he is survived by 2 daughters: Shannon M. Chaffinch and her husband, John of Seven Valleys, Caitlin A. Hebert and her husband, Nathaniel of Hanover; 3 grandchildren, his faithful 4-legged companion, Gracie, as well as many other loving family members.

A time to share memories and pay respects will be on Sunday, January 20 ^th from 2-4 & 6-8 pm at Wetzel Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc.; 549 Carlisle St.; Hanover, PA 17331. A Funeral Mass to celebrate Greg's life will be held on Monday, January 21 ^st at 10 am at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church; 106 Carlisle St.; New Oxford, PA 17350, with Rev. Michael Letteer officiating.  Interment will follow in Parkwood Cemetery; 3310 Taylor Ave.; Baltimore, MD 21234 at approximately 1pm.  There will be no formal procession.  Guests are invited to meet at the cemetery office to be escorted to the gravesite.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the National Coast Guard Museum Association, Inc.; 78 Howard St.; Suite A; New London, CT 06320
