Roger Yeck, 80, of Philadelphia, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at the Albert Einstein Hospital.

Born Saturday, April 16, 1938 in Philadelphia, he was a son of the late Louis M. and Esther (Young) Yeck.

Roger was employed with Moss Rehabilitation at Einstein for 40 years. In his younger days, Roger, enjoyed skiing; he was a lifelong model train enthusiast and enjoyed bowling.

Roger is survived by three brothers, Samuel Yeck of Philadelphia, Louis Yeck and his wife Irene of Southampton, William Yeck and his wife Robin of Winter Garden, FL; a sister, Helen "Debbie" Lee and her husband John of Holland; a sister-in-law, Audrey Yeck of Thornton, CO. Roger is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and extended family members.

In addition to his parents, Roger was preceded in death by a brother, Merle Yeck.

A service to celebrate the life of Mr. Yeck will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, January 24, 2019 at the Chapel at Ivy Hill Cemetery, 1201 Easton Rd, Philadelphia, PA 19150. A time to share memories with the family and an opportunity to view will be on Thursday from 10:30 until the time of service at the chapel. Burial will be in Northwood Cemetery, located at the intersection of N. 15 ^th St. and 71 ^st Ave. Philadelphia PA 19126.
