Roland A Thompson, V, 30, of Baltimore, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 29, 2022, at the Northwest Hospital Center, Randallstown, MD.

Born February 25, 1992, in Baltimore, MD, he was a son of Roland A. Thomas, IV of Baltimore and the late Deborah D. Lawson.

Roland loved riding dirt bikes, playing basketball and football and listening to his favorite rap music, Tupac, Eminem and Lil Wayne.

In addition to his father, Roland is survived by his siblings, Brandon Thompson of Baltimore, Christopher Lawson of Baltimore, Leroy Festerman, Jr. of Baltimore, Mya Chalfant of Baltimore; his paternal grandmother, Renee Arlene Nelson of Baltimore and many loving family members and friends.

In addition to his mother, was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Edward J. Dunker and his maternal grandparents, Dennis and Margaret Lawson.

There will be no public viewing. Following cremation, a memorial service to celebrate the life of Roland will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, January 7, 2023 at the Wetzel Funeral Home and Crematory, 549 Carlisle St., Hanover, PA. A time to share memories with the family will be on Saturday from 1 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
