Ronald E. Lockett, 69, of Hanover, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, December 30, 2019. He was the loving husband of Lisa (Pyle) Lockett, his wife of 36 years. He was the devoted father of Chris Lockett and partner Shannon McCleary of Hanover, Shane Lockett and partner Lenora Spahn of Hanover and cherished Pop-pop of grandson Trenton Lockett of Hanover.

Ronald was born January 27, 1950 in Baltimore but has lived in Hanover for the last 32 years.

In addition to his wife and children, Ronald is survived by siblings Robert Lockett and wife Rene of Missisppi, Michael Lockett and wife Judi of Ellicott City, MD, Shirly Binko of Dundalk, MD, Sharon White of Indiana,; brothers-in-law Dan Pyle and wife Michelle of Westminster, MD, Nick Pyle and wife Jana of Catonsville, MD, several nieces, nephews and many friends.

A service to celebrate the life of Ronald will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, January 3, 2020 at the Wetzel Funeral Home and Crematory, 549 Carlisle St., Hanover, PA with Rev. Kevin Orewiler officiating. A time to share memories with the family and an opportunity to view will be on Friday from 11 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association 610 Community Way, Lancaster PA 17603.
