Obituary

Geraldine Kagarise, 92, formerly of Hanover, passed away peacefully at The Gardens at Camp Hill on Monday, August 16, 2021.

Born July 7, 1929 in Imler, PA, she was a daughter of the late Willard W. and Bertha G. (Colebaugh) Kagarise.

Geraldine is fondly remembered for her strong faith, and was a member of Missionary Bible Baptist Church in Hanover.  She also loved music, and had a gift for playing piano and singing.

She is survived by 3 siblings; Dorthea L. (Renoll) Yingling of Hanover, John W. Kagarise and his wife, Helen of Great Falls, MT and Marion F. Kagarise of Great Falls, MT.  Also surviving are many loving nieces, nephews family and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Willard W. Kagarise and his wife, Phyllis, her brother, Larry Kagarise and his wife, Sharon; 2 brothers-in-law, Melvin Renoll and Donald Yingling and 1 sister-in-law, Lena Kagarise.

A funeral service to celebrate Geraldine's life will be held at 10am on Tuesday, August 24 th , 2021 at Wetzel Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc.; 549 Carlisle St. in Hanover. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery in Hanover. A time to share memories and an opportunity to view will also be on Tuesday from 9am until the start of the service at the funeral home.
