Sandra L. (Study) Mummert, 78 of Spring Grove died peacefully at home on Saturday, August 15, 2026. She was the wife of 56 years to Stephen H. Mummert.

Born July 30, 1948, in Littlestown, PA, she was a daughter of the late Vernon H., Sr. and Bernice O. (Wintrode) Study.

Mrs. Mummert was a graduate of Littlestown High School and the Maryland Medical Secretarial School in Hagerstown, MD. She was also a member of St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church in Spring Grove and a member of the Spring Grove Historical Preservation Society.

In addition to her husband, Sandra is survived by two sons: Bradley S. Mummert and Brian S. Mummert; two granddaughters: Lauren Mummert and Katherine Mummert; one brother, Bruce Study, as well as many more nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Vernon H. Study, Jr.

The family will celebrate Sandra’s life at a private service at her final resting place in Spring Grove Cemetery with Pastor Alison Bowland-Kurland officiating.
