Scott E. Gladfelter, 61 of Hanover passed away on Saturday, June 8, 2024.  He was the loving spouse of 33 years to Vickie A. Calp.

Born August 29, 1962 in Hanover, he was a son of the late Burnell D. and Catherine V. (Laughman) Gladfelter.

Mr. Gladfelter was a talented house painter by trade.  In his free time, he enjoyed junking and fishing.  He was also a former member of the Hanover Eagles and the Hanover Home Association.  Additionally, he is fondly remembered for his sense of humor.

In addition to his beloved Vickie, Scott is survived by two children: Tiffany Moore and her husband Dennis and Zachary Gladfelter; two stepsons: Ben Calp and Shayne Calp; six grandchildren: Lexie, Racquel, Alyhia, Dennis III, Donovan and Destiny; six brothers: Anthony Laughman, Burnell Gladfelter, Jr., Christopher Gladfelter, Wade Gladfelter, Shawn Gladfelter and Todd Gladfelter, as well as many loving nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two siblings, Wanda Gladfelter and Randy Gladfelter.

A memorial service to celebrate Scott's life will be held on Thursday, June 13th at 5pm at Wetzel Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc; 549 Carlisle St. in Hanover.  A time to gather and share memories with the family will also be on Thursday at the funeral home from 4pm until the start of the service.
