Scott Allen Noel, 39, of Hanover, passed away Sunday, December 13, 2020 at home.

Born July 6, 1981 in Hanover, he was the son of Wayne A. Noel and wife Michelle Althoff Noel, Hanover and Cynthia R. (Slick) States and husband Keith States, Hanover.

Scott was very active in his community as a volunteer firefighter and fire policeman.  He was a member of Pleasant Hill Fire Department Station 52, Hanover and the McSherrystown Moose. He enjoyed fishing, canoeing and going hunting with his brother.  Scott was an avid Baltimore Ravens fan and loved NASCAR.

In addition to his parents and step-parents, Scott is survived by his daughter, Mya Marie Noel, North Carolina; brother, Todd James Noel and wife Angie, Hanover; half-brother, Jesse James Donald Althoff Noel, Hanover; step-grandparents, Ronnie Reed, Manchester, MD and Sharon Reed, Hanover and Joe and Genevieve Althoff, West Virginia; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many brothers and sisters of the fire station.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 2, 2021 at 12 noon at the Pleasant Hill Fire Department, 3003 Baltimore Pike, Hanover.
