Terri L. (Johnston) Sterner, 62 of Gettysburg passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, January 5, 2025.  She was the beloved wife of Michael J. Sterner, Sr.

Born November 10, 1962 in Baltimore, she was a daughter of the late Herman E. and Audrey M. (Bosley) Johnston.

Mrs. Sterner loved the Lord above all, and was a member of The Intersection Church in Gettysburg.  In her career, she served for 35 years as a labor and delivery nurse at Carroll Hospital Center in Westminster, MD.  Terri is fondly remembered as a mother figure to all.  She also loved cooking, gardening and spending time at the beach.

In addition to her husband, Terri is survived by three children: Audrey M. Schetrompf and her husband Adam of Gilbert, AZ, Michael J. Sterner-Flynn II and his wife Kelly of Hanover and Justin M. Sterner and his wife Tiffany of Live Oaks, FL; three siblings: Herman E. Johnston, Jr. and his wife Crystal of Taneytown, MD, Deborah G. Frock of Sykesville, MD and Matthew L. Johnston and his wife Stacey of Taneytown, MD, as well as seven grandchildren, six nieces, three nephews and many loving extended family and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death her brother, Jeff A. Johnston.

A memorial service to celebrate Terri's life will be held on Sunday, January 12th at 5pm at The Intersection Church; 1980 Baltimore Pike; Gettysburg, PA 17325
