Theron E. Hann, 62 of Hanover passed away on Monday, June 15, 2020 at Hanover Hospital surrounded by his family. He was the beloved partner of Tammy S. Tasker of Hanover.

Born May 2, 1958 in Rock Hill, SC, he was a son of Nora Lee (Rill) Arentz and the late Theron Leon Hann

His mother, Nora Lee and her companion, Gary Kesselring reside in Hanover PA.

Theron, lovingly nicknamed "Thee" in childhood, enjoyed a wide array of music genres including classic rock, and blues. He loved seeking out new and unknown talents in the music industry. Thee enjoyed travel, fishing, the outdoors, trying new foods and riding his motorcycle but most of all, his passion was spending time with his precious grandchildren and family.

He attended North Carroll High School, graduating from the class of 1977. He was on the 1973 indoor track team and 1974 -1975 JV Soccer team. He spent most of his life in the company of his lifetime long friend Jean Vandergucht since their childhood.

Theron enlisted in the Marine Corp in 1977, right after High School graduation and served three years honorably. He was discharged in 1983 with receiving a Good Conduct Medal and earned the Expert Marksman Ribbon during his service.

Theron was a dual member of both the American Legion, and the Sons of the American Legion where he was a former Commander for Post 200 in Hampstead, MD

Theron was also a member of the McSherrystown Moose and Hanover Eagles.

In addition to his partner Tammy, Theron is survived by 2 sons: Theron M. Hann and his wife, Nicole of Dover AFB and Cory M. Hann of Manchester, PA; 2 grandchildren: Theron Easton Hann of Dover AFB and Auriela Hann of Dover AFB , children of Theron M and Nicole Hann ; 5 siblings: Terry Monheim and life partner Bob Sneeringer of Hanover, Ronald Hann and his wife Theresa of Hampstead, MD, Donald Hann of Manchester, MD, Jackie Gottwalt and her husband Tom of Hanover, Kim Fry and her fiancée Mark Basore of McSherrystown. Mr. Hann is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, extended family members and friends.

There will be no public viewing. Following cremation, a memorial service to celebrate the life of Theron will be held at 10:30 am on Friday, June 26, 2020 at the Classroom building at Codorus State Park. To get to the Classroom building, please head southeast on PA-216 E toward Codorus State Park, turn left onto Marina Rd., continue straight onto Marina Dr. Classroom Building will be on the right at the end of the road.

For those desiring, memorial contributions may be made to the American Legion, Moose, or Eagles.

Due to the restrictions for COVID19 we are asking those of you staying to join us in lunch to please follow these guidelines. We have servers inside to assist you with your meal. We will be serving 20 people at a time, please exit the building as soon as you have your meal so others may proceed. For the elderly and anyone with health concerns there will be a table set up for you to dine indoors we ask you wait until others are served to eliminate us exceeding the capacity . The maximum is 20. Drinks are located outdoors on the porch. Restrooms are found indoors to the left of the  entrance. After the luncheon please feel free to visit the Photo Memories.
