Timothy J. Blevins, 64 of York passed away peacefully at York Memorial Hospital on Wednesday, November 1st, 2023.  He was the beloved husband of Brinda L. (Golt) Blevins.

Born December 14, 1958 in Baltimore, he was a son of the late Paul L. and Mary S. (Hios) Blevins.

A faithful member of Shrewsbury Gospel Temple, Tim is fondly remembered as a dedicated, loving family man and a follower of Christ, as well as a good-natured prankster.  His family cherishes the memory that he was always the brightest spark of joy in any room he entered.  He was also a good listener and could always be trusted to give sound advice.  As a lover of nature, Tim enjoyed deer and turkey hunting, fishing, crabbing and camping.    He also had the great talents of singing and drawing, and enjoyed listening to old-time gospel and rock music.

In addition to his wife, Brinda, Mr. Blevins is survived by three children: Dennis W. Blevins and his wife Donna, Shawn L. Blevins and his wife Melissa and Rachel E. Klein and her husband Justin; seven grandchildren: Austin, Nicholas, Daniel, Daisey, Noah, Layla and Elijah; five siblings: Jane Wright, Michael Blevins, Mark Blevins, Stephany Carey and Suellen Scanlon, as well as many loving nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Timothy J. Blevins, Jr., his brother, Paul B. Blevins and his granddaughter, Noel Blessing Klein.

There is no public service planned at this time.
