Wayne A. Miller Memorial Video

Wayne A. Miller, 67, of Hanover, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 18, 2021 at his home.

Born November 4, 1954 in Gettysburg, he was a son of Betty L. (Myers) Hughes of Hanover and the late Truman S. Miller.

Wayne was an avid sports fan; he loved the Pittsburgh Steelers, Baltimore Orioles and WrestleMania.

In addition to his mother, Wayne is survived by three siblings, Linda Norris and her husband Buddy of Westminster, MD, Bill Hughes, Jr. and his wife Linda of Spring Grove, Tammy Warner of Hanover; two step-siblings, Cathy Howes of Hanover, Terry Hughes of Westminster, MD. Wayne is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.

In addition to his father, Wayne was preceded in death by his daughter, Jean Miller, a sister, Cheryl Miller; his step-father, Bill J. Hughes, Sr. and a step-brother, Ronald Hughes.

A service to celebrate the life of Wayne will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at the Wetzel Funeral Home and Crematory, 549 Carlisle St., Hanover, PA with the Rev. Samuel Garrett officiating. A time to share memories with the family will be on Wednesday from 12 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery, Hanover.
