Zachary William Sauter, 33, passed away on February 26, 2025, in Hanover, Pennsylvania.

Born on September 5, 1991, in Hanover, Pennsylvania, Zachary was a kind and generous soul who touched the lives of many. His love for music was evident from an early age, and he developed an incredible talent for playing multiple instruments. He became exceptionally skilled at the bass guitar and drums, finding joy and expression through his music.  Zach also enjoyed cooking, skateboarding, camping, fishing, hiking, and all things technology, especially helping his family with their gadgets.

Zachary's kindness extended beyond people—he had a deep love for animals and cared for them with great compassion. His giving nature was a defining part of who he was, always putting others before himself. Even in passing, Zachary continued to help others through the Gift of Life program, ensuring that his generosity would live on.

He is survived by his mother, Melissa Pick (David); his father, Joseph Sauter (Melanie); his siblings, Jennifer Sauter (Drew Myers), Zoe Kinneman, Chris Kinneman Jr., Austin Sauter, and Morgan Sauter (Cameron Krebs); as well as his maternal grandparents, John and Sally Richardson. He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, George C. Sauter Jr. and Celestia Harper (Lee).

Zachary's memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew him. May his love for music and generosity continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to have known him.

A memorial service to celebrate Zachary's life will held in private by his family.
